- Payment Information: Billing details processed through Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers directly; payment processing is handled by Stripe Inc. on your connected Stripe account.
- Communications Content: Emails, SMS messages, campaign content, and marketing materials you create or send through the Platform.
- Phone Numbers: Mobile or landline numbers provided for SMS booking reminders and event notifications.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, clicks, session duration, and interaction patterns.
- Device Information: Browser type, operating system, IP address, and device identifiers.
- Email Engagement Data: Open rates, click-through rates, bounce status, and unsubscribe events for campaigns sent through the Platform.

4.3 Opt-Out
You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any message from Marketfier.
- Updating your notification preferences in your account settings.

After opting out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

4.5 Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Marketfier is not responsible for any charges imposed by your carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4.6 Mobile Information Sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories listed above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Phone numbers collected for SMS are shared only with our SMS service provider (Twilio Inc.) for the sole purpose of message delivery.
5. Third-Party Service Providers (Sub-Processors)
We use the following third-party services to operate the Platform:

- Stripe Connect Users: If you use Stripe Connect for paid bookings or events, your customers' payment data is processed directly in your Stripe account. Marketfier does not hold, process, or have access to your funds.
- Cross-Service Data Flow: Data you enter in one part of the Platform (e.g., a booking) may be used in another part (e.g., marketing automation) to provide an integrated experience. This data remains within the Platform infrastructure.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
- Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of Marketfier, our users, or the public.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.
7. Data Retention
- Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 30 days after deletion to allow recovery.
- Booking and Event Data: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days.
- Marketing Campaign Data: Email engagement data (opens, clicks) retained for 12 months. Campaign content retained for the duration of your subscription.
- Contact and Lead Data: Retained until you delete the contact or terminate your account.
- SMS Logs: Message delivery status retained for 12 months for compliance and support. Message content is not stored by Marketfier after delivery.
- Payment Records: Transaction records retained for 7 years as required for tax and accounting compliance.
- Analytics Data: Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) for all data transmission.
- Encryption at rest for sensitive data stored in our databases.
- Access controls and role-based authentication for all administrative systems.
- Infrastructure hosted on private, access-controlled servers.
- Regular security reviews of infrastructure and dependencies.
- Database backups with encryption.
No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.

Emails sent through the Platform's marketing automation features may contain tracking pixels to measure open rates and links that track click-through rates. This data is used to provide campaign analytics to Platform users.
9.3 Your Choices
You may disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent the Platform from functioning properly. We honor Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
